A piece of dinosaur egg shell from 70 million years ago!! -

Yes a baby dinosaur would have developed inside the egg and as it hatched out  would have broken the shell – this could be the very piece it broke as it emerged with its brothers and sisters to see the Earth how it looked 70 million years ago!  Imagine That!!!

A Spinosaurus Tooth - Spinosaurus Dinosaur
Middle to Late Cretaceous Period, as old as 95 myo.
One of the largest, and also one of the strangest of the Dinosaur age,
Spinosaurus had a long slender snout, and large sail on its back.
See the picture of what Scientist consider Spinosaurus may have looked like – by piecing together bones and other anatomical features found in the fossils  records.

Plus you receive another piece of dinosaur bone – uncertain though we may be about which dinosaur it came from – we do know it is aged at approx 180 million years ago. You want to see  the naughts in that! 180 000 000 YEARS AGO

Fascinating to think how long dinosaurs were able to roam on earth.

OTher fossils in your kit include a peice of fossiled tree resin – caled AMBER. The original tree was living around 50 million years ago.

A shark tooth is also included – from the Eocene period about 50 million years ago.
Of course Sharks are a lot older than this. Sharks teeth are found throughout the fossil record. Not only are they very ancient in origins and prolific throughout time but  they had a lot of teeth and could grow more each time they lost some.

Why no Shark bones???  We cant really find any shark bones as they were/are made of Cartilage  (this doesn’t last over time!) – and not bone the way say Bony fish, Reptiles and Mammals etc have fossilied bones to collect.

Oh andthe mega kit includes  a starter hand lens – to get a closer look at your amazing treasures.
